Talks with the Yankees may be deal, but the Marlins are shopping A.J. Burnett. They've have spoken with the Tigers, Diamondbacks, Orioles and maybe the Red Sox.
The Marlins are also interested in Tim Hudson, so maybe some sort of three-team deal will be attempted. Burnett is eligible for free agency after next season. Dec. 13 - 2:12 am et

The Sox should get in on this. His arm is electric and was the best pitching prospect the Marlins had when they still had Dempster in their system. Jump on this KW.

Although i would love the idea of a trade for burnett its a very hard one to make. Burnett makes 2.5 mil this year. The marlins are in no postion to take on salary and we are in no postion to eat salary, so working something out would be difficult. I doubt we could send them Konerko, he is too expensive for them.
