Ok, this is a bit silly, but desparate times demand desparate moves. Chad Hutchinson, the Bears' QB was a pitcher at Stanford and in the Cardinals' system. Joe Borchard was a QB at Stanford and pretends to play baseball for the White Sox. Hutchinson has incredible arm strength, maybe he can be another Nolan Ryan.

Why not trade Borchard for Hutchinson? Chad won't have to worry about that ^&$%E&&# Bears' Offensive line not protecting him and Sox fans won't have to worry about fly balls to right or LTP coming up with two outs and the game on the line.

Maybe teal is in order?

Maybe teal is in order?Hutchinson quit baseball a few years ago because he couldn't throw strikes. He threw in the upper 90s, but walked about a batter an inning, if not more than that even.

On the other hand, review what Dallas said about him when they unloaded him. Sometimes a change in scenery helps a guy.

There was just an article in the Sun times on how a scout laughed at the Bears for signing him because he had a huge windup...the Bears worked with him and fixed something, and now he gets the ball out quickly. Eat that scout!
