Antonio Alfonseca to the Marlins

According to the Miami Herald, Alfonseca will sign with the Marlins once he passes a physical on Monday. This is interesting for the Sox because he's signing for a similar role. His contract....2 years, $4.75 million with the possibility of earning more through incentives. Alfonseca had a much better year last year, but that came after an absolutely horrendous year in 2003.
