Does M&N actually expect someone to buy a Matt Stark jersey? :redneck

Placing the words Cooperstown and Sosa less than 50 miles apart should be a felony.

That's a great jersey, too. Change that 1 to a 3 and you've got a classic.

I'd also like to think these guys would have done a little research to point out the Sammy was #25 on the Sox.

To be fair, you can also purchase 1990 jerseys in the numbers 13, 23, 35, and 72.

M&N's research sucks. They also offer a 1980 Fisk jersey. Fisk joined the Sox in 1981.

IIRC, Sosa wore 25 with the Sox, so this isn't his jersey...yes, great research by them.

Ventura wore #21 when he was first brought up and then switched to 23(Jordan)...I believe because of his 0 for 43 streak. Maybe teh 21 is an attempt at a Ventura throwback? :dunno:

Robin was #21 his first year, but that was 1989, so if this is being marketed as a "1990," I think he had already adopted 23.

Ah...ok. Well, yeah...Stark was popular wasn't he?

There's something oddly satisfying about "Sosa" and "throwback Sox jersey" in the same sentence - as in throw it back!

I know this is heretical on this site, but I liked Sham-E when he was on the Sox. I was upset when they acquired Cory "F***ing" Snyder and gave him all the playing time in right field and I was horrified when they traded Sosa to get George "I'm sixteen years older than my listed age" Bell. Because of that I'm going to run right out and buy a Matt Stark jersey.

Why don't they just make a throwback Sox jersey with LUCIFER 666 in big, black letters already?

Go to Mitchell and Ness's website (http://www.mitchellandness.com/).
Click on MLB on the right side of the page.
In the left colum, select White Sox • Chicago
Select Chicago White Sox Jerseys
Go to the 2nd page of jerseys offered.
Click on the photo of the jersey.
Click on http://buy.mnnstore.com/Images/grid_button2.gif
That should bring you to a page with all the numbers and available sizes. Be forewarned, all but one requires that you call the place to check for it availability.
