If of course we don't win the division. I never knew about this

Among first-round losers, full shares were worth $27,440 for Minnesota, $25,138 for Anaheim, $24,473 for Los Angeles and $23,172 for Atlanta. For second-place teams that didn't make the playoffs, full shares were worth $9,308 for the Chicago White Sox (http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/team/71590), $9,031 for Oakland, $8,892 for San Francisco and $8,414 for Philadelphia.
Ok.....so what did JR do with the $9,308?

"I have no idea what you're talking about! I swear!"

I wonder how much JR got. That would be the amount each player received.

"Hey how much money did you guys get in the white enevlope? I only got $500"
"Dude, me too. I thought we were supposed to get over 9 thousand each?"
"Yeah, thats what we got last year."
"I thought so,too. Jerry, whats up with that?

(sneaking out of the clubhouse carrying large bags with $ on them)
:reinsy (coughs violently)
"Oh, hey guys, I was just... uh... taking out the dirty towels. The towel boy is sick. Uh, yeah... I just talked to Bud. He said that since you guys played so bad down the stretch, he decided to award the Indians second place. And um, he said the Tigers played inspired, so they took third"

"Hey man, that is BS"
"Oh, and one other thing. Due to the large payroll increase I promised in July (busts out laughing)... You guys aren't laughing? That joke killed at the Country Club. Anyway, we gotta tighten our belts around here. You guys take too long of showers after games, so we are installing pay showers. 30 seconds per quarter. We are putting a change machine in the corner."
