How are the Sox not running away with this one?

But seriously, how the Bears (or Blackhawks  ) aren't winning this poll is beyond me.

I actually voted for the Blackhawks in this poll. My blood pressure is a lot lower this winter without having to watch those idiots lose.

Good to know so many Cubs fans are thankful for their starting pitching. After all, I think Kerry Woods went 7-8 last year. :D:

I voted Blackhawks. What systematic butchery of a franchise. An historic franchise! Hawk games at the old stadium were the place to be.

What happened to the choice "Cubs winning 2004 World Series," I thought I heard somewhere all spring and summer that they won it......

(I remember the first time I saw that cover, I was on the subway and almost threw up, I both disgusted by the morale boost it gave the Evil Ones and happy that SI made sure it would not become a reality).

Let's not joke about this too much. I could see SI changing the 2004 at the top of the page to 2005. I'm sure they'll remind us all know how great Prior, Wood, Zambrano, et al. are supposed to be as well. With the Red Sox winning the WS, it will just intensify all of the media coverage around the Cubs since they are the only "cursed" team left...
