Is he worth a look at? Maybe sign him for spring training?

No, he isn't. We have Frank Thomas, remember him?

Nope. I liked Mo Vaughn during his years with the Red Sox and Angels. He was a great hitter and an even better person. Even now, the people in Boston still speak highly of him because of everything he did for their community. Having said that, Mo has a chronic knee condition that forced him to leave the Mets during the 2003 season. The chances of him being able to hold up over a 162-game season are slim to none.

I certainly wish Mo the best if he decides to attempt a comeback, but I don't think he's worth looking at, even if Frank isn't healthy. The Sox have Everett and Gload availible to DH if Thomas isn't ready for Spring Training or Opening Day.
