I thought that this article provided a good assessment of the Vizquel and Guzman signings. The Perceival signing is considered as well.

Good article, especially considering some of the knee-jerk "sky is falling" rhetoric about the Sox not making huge splashes in the free agent market.

I don't see why anyone would be getting upset about the Sox not getting an old SS or a sucky SS anyway. Percival would have been nice, I suppose.

I wasn't considering Manos to be an option.
