"BASEBALL INSIDER"
By: KEN ROSENTHAL

"Pitching coach Don Cooper already has the WHITE SOX's rotation penciled in through the first half of next season. His five-man rotation includes RHP Jason Grilli, who wasn't impressive statistically at the end of '04 but showed an outstanding work ethic and agressiveness in the strike zone."

I guess until KW tells him that they've signed/traded for another pitcher, Cooper really doesn't have much choice...

This is an excerpt from the Sporting News Magazine, November 22, 2004 issue:Please don't start. Before everyone gets their shorts all knotted up and starts with the usual blather, read the rest of the article. Cooper is just lining up his rotation with the players he has as of now. It doesn't mean diddle.

True, and Grilli's name should be in teal.

You're right...it's just as likely to be Felix Diaz or Arnie Munoz.

Or Neal Cotts, we could even get Danny Wright back healthy!!

Neal Cotts isn't that much of a stretch. Danny Wright?? God don't even joke about it. But then again, he was injured, which explains why he couldn't find the strike zone.

He isn't much of a starting pitcher either.
