Look on the bright side...

If the 'Stache raised his average by 50 points, he would still be horrible.
I will predict now that he will hit one game winning homer against us in 2005.
However, he will strike out against us over 60 times.

The Twins, per their local media last week, have given some thought to looking at Valentin to DH.

They currently have 3 in-house candidates for SS: Nick Punto, Augie Ojeda, and some AAA prospect. There is zero chance they would ever put Valentin at SS. This is a team that grew tired of Guzman's defense...can you imagine Valentin??
