So how does a pitcher who wins his seventh Cy Young Award, as Roger Clemens is expected to do in a few short hours, walk away from the game?

"Easy," Clemens said without hesitation. "Like I said, I was happy last season, but it wasn’t fun. I worked real hard."

I still think he'll be back. This year was supposed to be him and Andy winning one for the home crowd, but Andy got hurt. I think that's enough to get him back again. In any case, I don't think we'll know until some time during spring training.

The NESN website has just posted a video of Roger's first 20K game in 1986.

I remember that night as I was watching Carlton Fisk "try" to play LF against Baltimore.
