8/27/2002 Walkoff grand slam against Blue Jays
5/25/2003 3 run walkoff in bottom 12 against Tigers
4/14/2004 RBI single to complete comeback against Royals
4/23/2004 Sac fly to seal deal against D-Rays
5/1/2004 What better way to kick off May than a sac fly by Crede against the Blue Jays
7/24/2004 Walkoff homer against Ugueth Urbina to defeat Tigers and put Sox in first for the last time of the season
9/23/2004 If they were in the race this would easily be the most dramatic of them all. A 3 run walkoff homer after a botched bunt by Jamie Burke to complete the comeback against the Royals 7-6.

What's your favorite? Any that I missed?

Even though this wasn't his hit, it was thrilling when he tagged up on Sandy's sac fly to complete a 5 run 9th against the Indians

I liked that one in July. I was there and the game was sold out. If I remember correctly, he was either the last batter of either the 9th or 10th inning. As soon as he hit it, everyone knew it was long gone. Crede's good for something sometimes.

I would take Crede in the 9th over anybody in the league for a clutch hit. I really mean that, he is so clutch its amazing :sockem

Have you ever heard Hawk freak out more than a Crede walkoff?

When he hit the one against the Tigers this year Hawk said "Shades of the '83 White Sox"

It was on WCIU:crede :hawk

I also wouldn't have anyone other than Carlos Lee at the plate with the bases loaded. It seems like everytime I have watched when he was up with 'em loaded HE PUTS IT ON THE BOARD:caballo :WU

That one 7/24 vs. the Tigers. He hit a huge double the inning before to get us within that.

Big game for Crede...sell out crowd I might add. I was happy to be there for it.

Wow. I hadn't realized he had that many game-winning hits. Sure, he may suck (jury's still out), but he's sure clutch, too.

That 2 RBI double, he just reached out across the plate and practically tossed his bat at it. I was thinking what are you swinging at? But then i saw it was fair and I was jumping up and down with everybody else. :army:capone

If he got a few hits before the 9th, maybe the Sox would actually be ahead more often.

Sorry, not a Crede fan. Remember, Ben Davis was Mr. Clutch there for a while too.

My favorite walk off was when we walked off the field into the dugout after getting K'ed 81 times this year!

I was at the park for the 2003 12th-inning homer against the Tigers to win on a Sunday (the Sox only win against the Tigers that weekend -- the 1-0 loss Friday night was brutal, and the only scoring Saturday night came on an early Crede HR). The year before against the Indians, on a Sunday when the Sox seemed dead, Thomas tied the score in the ninth with a two-out, three-run homer, and the next three men got on for Crede's game winnng hit. That was the day the Sox released Clayton. The first time I ever saw Crede was in a game against the Cubs in Tucson. It was probably a Saturday in 1999 because that was my last year in Arizona. He got a pinch-hit double in the ninth for the exhibition-game win.

speaking of calling crede homers, I did twice and said if he hits a homer, one was a walkoff and the other was against the Cubs, I'd buy a Crede jersey and he delivered both times. I, on the other hand, did not deliver in buying a jersey. Crede needs a lot of work to do to get better.

I was there - it was a great game. Fireworks night, too. All was right with the world.

He needs to stop being a paying member of the
Royce Clayton fan club.In other words,

"Love the glove,hate the stick".

Crede's offense needs a lot of work.I expect
power numbers of at least 20 and 100 from my
3B.

Yeah,I was sitting out in left field. I remember the Sox being dead for 6 innings.

I remember leaving and thinking "This is it! We are going to beat the Twins and win the division." How foolish I was.:whiner:

Yep, the nice part of that double is he went with the pitch...poked it over the first baseman's hand right down the rightfield line. I was sitting in Wilkes' seats for that game, so the ball rolled right down in front of us in the corner. The place was a madhouse. It was fireworks night, too...just a perfect win.

The Sac Fly against the Blue Jays was great because I had just seen Damaso Marte blow a 1 run lead on a solo shot by Carlos Delgado.
