Maybe if Cubs players acted more like their own fans and players on the Red Sox, they would win too!

Millar should shut up before Steinbrenner demands the Red Sox forfeit Game 6 and 7..... :?:

Wow, what a dumb thing to admit if it indeed happened.

That was a stupid thing to say. Just watch... MLB will take away their championship.

Showing up to work drunk, the normal work force would be fired.

Showing up to work drunk, the normal work force would be fired. No doubt. Unfortunately for us schmoes in the normal work force, there's also no such thing as a guaranteed contract with a built in 6 month vacation. I would be surprised baseball did anything to the Red Sox- they'd look pretty silly disciplining Red Sox players for drinking a little booze before a couple of games while allowing rampant steroid abuse to remain the status quo throughout the rest of MLB.

Johnny Damon was on Letterman last night and denied any pre-game festivities like this happened.

"I wish I'd never opened my mouth," Millar said.
Sox officials did not seem particularly perturbed. Communications director Glenn Geffner said the team had no official comment.
"Boys being boys," he said.

Doctors say a little alcohol everyday is actually good for you..The way Milar put it they couldnt have each had as much as in a shot of Nyquil, no big deal..At least they picked good whiskey..I like Makers Mark myself....

Great choice, even compared to the higher end stuff like Knob Creek, Jack Daniels Single Barrel and such. Another great bourbon for the money is Jim Beam Black. I used to think Beam was just cheap bourbon, but the black label is quality bourbon at any price.

Labrot & Graham makes a mighty fine bourbon. A little on the high end, but worth it.
