WIND 560 AM just switched (as of Nov. 1) from Spanish language broadcasting to a talk format (in English). I believe this was part of a swap of stations, so an FM station is now converting over to Spanish language broadcasting with a change in format. (WIND was an oldies station, IIRC, and the new FM station will not have this format.) This raises a couple of questions.
First, could WIND be a competitor for broadcasting the Sox after the coming year?
Second, a few years ago, WIND was the Spanish language outlet for the Sox. I don't know which station (if any) was the outlet last year. With a new FM Spannish language station, how does this affect the Sox programming in that language.
