Was he in a single year contract or multi year? In other words, do we have to keep him in '05?

Probably. As for next season, he will play the first half with some lowly NL team. But KW will pick him up for a song, bolsteing our lineup for the stretch run!

I've never seen a player disappear into the woodwork like Alomar did after the Sox got him again.
