Minnesota's prized outfield prospect Jason Kubel tore up his knee in the Fall League yesterday. I suppose it marginally benefits the Sox, but it's always sad when a young guy gets a serious injury. Here's the link to BA

This kid's obvioulsy not ready for the bigs. He just hasn't learned that the appropriate response to a major knee injury is to immediately go into hiding, have treatment & surgery at remote, foreign locations without the knowledge of your employer, and then prevent said employer from learning anything about your medical condition except via Wannstedt-esque "He'll be fine" coments from your agent.

Watch out, some of the "pro-Magglio no matter what an incredible A$$ he is" might take offense.
