Top 1, runners on the corners...

Unless the Cards' offense wakes the **** up, turn the lights out on their party.

Beltran scores on a sac fly... Houston 1, St. Louis 0.

2-run homer by Albert Pujols.

Cardinals 2, Astros 1... Bottom 1

Man, I hope the Cardinals pull it out. They're will be some fun parties down here.

Pujols goes yard. 2-1 Cards. So much for that Astros lead.

Let me plat Tim McCarver for a moment....

Albert Pujols is a really good hitter.

Edgar Renteria doubles home Pujols and Rolen in the bottom of the 3rd. Munro gone. Cardinals 4, Astros 2.

Pujols is out at home on the Rolen double, still 4-3Bad decision by Pujols. I know he was probably thinking about the earlier deflection where Beltran came around, but Pujols doesn't have Beltran's speed. With Edmonds coming up next, you gotta let him hit with men on 2nd and 3rd. Nice play by Ausmus too.

Awesome tag by Ausmus at the plate! He had to like dive to get Pujols.

He's so cute...lol.

The Cards with 12 hits in the first five innings and only four runs? Did I see that right?

If so that could really, really come back to haunt them at the end.

Wow. The Cards intentionally walk Beltran with a runner on 2nd. Bagwell comes up swinging first pitch fastball and singles to left. Tie game. 4-4. Berkman up with runners on 1st and 2nd.

Roger vs Pedro @ Fenway Saturday????
Not if Albert Pujols, Scott Rolen, or Jim Edmonds have their way.

My prediction is that this thing doesn't get past Rolen.

Doesn't this prove that baseball is the greatest game? This NLCS would be remember as one of the most exciting ever if it weren't for the ALCS. I love this game!
