As reported on the Score. Someone will be stupid enough to pick him up, hopefully not the Sox.

He better not ever be in a Sox uniform ever again. I wouldn't even sign him to a non-guaranteed minor league contract.

Dear Billy:

Best wishes as you resume your scholastic career (whether on campus or via correspondence) from your friends at WSI !

In only 2 years Billy has gone from Rolaids Fireman of the Year to out of baseball. Wow!

Someone is gonna give him a chance. My guess is he ends up with the Reds.

I hated Koch's performance but overall he seemed like a decent guy so I don't hate him.

It was odd when Koch was gone for the last month+ from the Marlins.

Actually, if the Sox think there is something there in Koch that's valuable and will help the team then I would not have a problem with Koch being a Sox player again.

The bullpen needs help anyway. I would actually rather have Koch as a 6th or 7th inning guy than Jon Adkins. I would rather have Loaiza, too.

I'm really getting a kick from reading the Marlins' board.

And for all you Billy Koch lovers, please accept it he sucks...he sucked last year and he sucked this year!
finally the marlins saw the light and let go of billy koch...
Who else didn't think the Koch trade was going to be a flop in the first place? Hey Billy, go to the Phillies or Braves please.
the deal was worth it but damn Koch sucks

I wouldn't mind Koch coming back to the sox at all, just not for what he was making, and not as our closer.

the guy was a class act through his struggles.
hell, tom gordon made quite a comeback... koch certainly isn't finished off product.

Wasn't Koch going to be a free agent anyway? We can only hope the Cubs sign him.

I agree. He's a nice guy and just isn't a closer. If the Sox were to sign a superstar pitcher or hitter then Billy would be a good guy to sign to put in the bullpen instead od Adkins.

Kinda feel bad for the guy, but then I remember how many games he lost us last year.

I'm waiting for the first guy to post that we should resign him based on one scoreless inning he had with the Marlins. Those are already taking place with the Loaiza threads.

Yea, he was pretty useless for the Marlins, also...
