Mesa faced Peoria on the road in an afternoon game, and lost their 3rd game in a row, 12-6. One of the lone bright spots was the play of 2b Tim Hummel.

The Old Dominion draftee leadoff for the visiting Solar Sox, and went 2-4 with a run scored and an RBI double, his second of the season. He's now batting .313 on the young season.

Once again he was flawless in the field.

Regular starters Joe Borchard and Bobby Hill sat out today's game, and will most likely be back in the lineup tomorrow.

The only other Sox prospect to play, was right handed reliever Kyle Kane. He continued his early dominance, with 2 shutout innings, allowing 2 hits and a walk, and striking out 2. He kept his 0.00 ERA in tact, and added to his league leading strikeout total of 9.

The only other noteworthy result was Hee Seop Choi's 2nd HR of the season.

Mesa plays host to Scottsdale tomorrow night.
