What World Series champions do you believe are the most overrated or underrated? In other words, which gets mention with the all-time greats but really shouldn't and which ones aren't mentioned enough with the all-time greats?

Overrated: 1969 Mets. good team, but the result of everything coming together in one year.

Underrarted: 1976 Reds. They didn't match the previous year's win total but swept both the NLCS and Worl Series, the first and (I think) only time it ever happened.

I have never heard anyone mention the 1969 Mets as one of the greatest teams of all time. I do like to here the 1969 Mets metioned, though -- in Ron Santo's presence.

Good call on the Blue Jays being underrated. Those Blue Jay teams were some of the best in the last 20 years. I think the fact that they were a Canadian team is why they often get overlooked.

The 98-99 Yankees are I think the best team of all time. At least top 5. They went like 11-2, 11-3 each year..they were perfect at winning. Every thing they needed they got. Could not be beaten. They'd mop the floor with this Yankee squad.
