Last nites attendance at Wrigley (I went there and counted)
was ZERO. I think there was a guy who was changing some of the
soda signs inside, but he looked like he was with Pepsi, and not a fan
Heh heh.

By the way, I went into Murphys Bleachers and caught a couple innings
of Tuesdays Yanks/Twinks game. Eerily quiet. a couple cub fans in back
were getting really loud, and cheering for the Twins, almost as if they were
pretending the Twinkies were the cubs or something. Something
caught my eye ......it was a "1998 Cubs Wildcard" at the top of the sign
and at the bottom "National Champions 1998". trying to rewrite history
arent they ?

"Looks like I win again Ronnie. I told you even if our fans were arrogant or stupid enough to show up, security wouldn't let them in the building."

I think that after a whole season of buying tickets at inflated prices (from the Cubs' own broker) the fans are just waiting until the World Series to spend the big bucks for tickets. The crowds will be standing room only for sure at Wrigley Field in a couple weeks.

Heh heh. Hanger, check your schedule. The Flubs were on the road playing the Giants that night. Some of the guys in my office today scored real nice seats for the NLCS game at the Urinal next week. Got them from a broker who is in the Tribune Tower. Did not know they rented space to ticket brokers there. I bet that broker pays a lot of rent to the Tribune Company.

Sorry Henry, but if we're going to talk postseason ****, at least make it there ourselves.
