Sele is the only one that I would go after.

But then again what the hell do I know?

I assume you mean from the list of pitchers that is all you want. I wouldn't mind one bit if we signed Jason Giambi, it won't happen though. Or Charles Johnson for that matter.

Cause I like Paul Konerko and his bat at first and the Sox will never put up that kind of money for a guy that plays first as bad as Frank. They already have Frank.

But then again what the hell do I know?

It'd be great to see Charles Johnson in a Sox uniform!

Oh wait, we saw that in 2000, who'd've thunk it?

We need him back!

No Miguel Olivo is the future behind the plate. But Josh has been hitting the ball much better as of late, due to his new batting stance. Only time will tell if it was for real.

Here comes Johnny Damon.

Well, on the pitchers side of things we have few choices. Chan Ho will be asking alot and we can't afford him. How about Jason Schmidtz? I don't think it will cost that much, he's a veteran and he's a good pitcher. The ony other option is David Wells. I rather invest in Jason than Wells. On the relievers side. Its leaning towards Bill Simas not being on this ballclub, so lets go after Jason Christiansen. He's a good solid lefty if Kelly Wunsh doesn't come back to 2000 form.
On the position players. Charles Johnson would be great, but i think he'll resign with Florida. I thought he signed a long-term contract anyway?

What we should do is sign Johnny Damon to be our lead off hitter and to play CF, move Ray down in the order and everything will be hunky Dory.

Damon
Valentin
Thomas
Ordonez
Konerko
Durham
Lee
Leifer
Johnson(Charles or Mark)

That would also leave us with a problem.
What about Borchard?
Well, either we only sign Damon short-term, or trade Lee..stick Borchard in LF and thats that. But I like Lee and don't want to see this leave. Besides, who does Borchard remind you of? He plays for the Toons...He's also friends with Mark Johnson.
Their styles look the same. Free swingers who play below average defense.
I wouldn't want to be KW, thats for sure.

Leadoff-hitting centerfielder with speed?

Sign Rickey Henderson.
