For those of you who care...

SoxFest 2005 tickets go on sale Friday October 15.

But no word on the prices of the tickets.

SoxFest dates are January 14-16.

What do they usually run, generally? I think it's $35 for the weekend or $15 for Saturday and Sunday and $10 for Friday.

Maybe it was a little more expensive, I know Friday is five bucks cheaper and there is another $5 break if you buy for the whole weekend...

If you are only going for one day, I would suggest:

1) Go on Saturday, and
2) Buy your tickets SOON. Saturdays have sold out the last few years

It was a little over $300 last year. $330???

Anyway, if anyone plans on going for more than one day it's the best deal.

For those who don't know, you get a hotel room for two nights, up to 4 Soxfest weekend passes and up to 4 vouchers for any game in April/May.

Normally you'd end up paying more for one room for one night alone...

Normally you'd end up paying more for one room for one night alone...I think I paid 275 for my two night package. It's worth the money, especially since I dont have to lug everything home on the train in the january weather.

I'll be at the bar Thur, Fri and Sat night, maybe Sun night too, since I fly in on Thursday afternoon and leave Monday afternoon. We will definitely meet up this year.
