This may be a dumb question, but I thought with the interleague rotating every year, why dont we play the NL central teams this year. Have we ever, I am just too lazy to look back in in recent memory I dont remember playing them, but I was just curious as I thought it would be our turn to play the NL central. Again, sorry if it is stupid question, I just didnt know if there was something in the interleaguee rules about it.

Time to start thinking about the starting nine plan.

The 6 games at home in August vs. the Yankees and Twins will be fun... if we are a contending team.

Why does New York only come once for the second year in a row? And why does Seattle come twice for the second year in a row? Those types of things are supposed to be rotating (ie, we should be going to Seattle twice next year, NY should come into town more than once). I guess I should stop trying to make sense out of MLB's schedule logic.

Regarding the opening day lineup, I think only three players are certain to be in it: Buehrle, SP, Roawd, CF, Thomas, DH. All other positions are up for grabs.

The thing is we played the depresso Central from 97-01 and it takes two times around vs. a division to play ALL the teams. We played the West in 03, but never played Colorado. I think we're going there next year, that'll be great. Going to San Fran will be awesome. Hell I hope in 06 we go back to the East. At least we can see the Phillies park...this year of course they came here so next time we play them we're due to play in Philly.

The Yankees have made one visit to the South Side since 2001. That's nothing new. It's the result of the unbalanced schedule.

I see there are 10 Monday home games.
Wonder if that means that 1/2-price Mondays are dead?
That seems like a lot of Mondays, after only 4 this year ( technically 5, if you count the Phillies make-up game ).

10 is a lot. I think it might signal the end of Pepsi Tuesday though.

It would be nice if we could get back to playing the Central. It is always fun paying St. Louis and gives an opportunity to see more games in person. I could care less about going to Coors. I definately don't want to see Arizona, San Diego or Los Angeles....

Yeah right in your dreams do we get all those guys! Although it would be nice... Clement would be a great guy to fill the 4th spot between Contreras and Garland, as long as he loses that growth on his chin...

A Brand New Park, and a Awesome City(ROAD TRIP):bandance: .

from todays suntimes

The Sox' home schedule was released Saturday, but the road portion is being delayed because of some scheduling conflicts. The Sox apparently have asked Major League Baseball to review the schedule because it has an inordinate amount of two- and four-game series
