And the Sox gained a game and a half yesterday- if only the regular season went until January 1st, the Sox would be right there in the hunt. Damn schedule makers, with their "set number of games." It makes me jealous when I see the fans in Houston and other contending cities getting really excited over each play. Meanwhile, we're taking a close look at the strong September performance of Ross Gload. Bleh.

Wow, more Cubs fans are happy about the Sox failure than the Cubs' postseason prospects. But, of course, Cubs fans don't care about the Sox.

Oh I don't think that's fair. Some Cub fans have learned to pay attention even when Sam-Me isn't batting. :wink:
