A former Sox had a hand in this win, Ray Durham got a career high 5 hits and was selected the player of the game on the local TV broadcast.

Also, the play-in game on Monday would be at the TRUE jewel of MLB parks, Pac Bell.

Late in tonights Cub gam Santo whined "They can't afford to split this series".

LMAO I'm thinking split hell, you may just lose this series. America's team has lost 3 of 4 now. The wheels are starting to wobble. GO REDS!!!

I believe this is my first use of this :bandance:, and honestly, it feels good. As I've been hoping for all week, cheer for the 162-game tie since the Cubs will lose game 163. Cubbies losing in 162 or 163 is all the same to me.

In case of ties the Cubs would be at San Francisco and at Houston. For some reason I think the Astros are going to steal this spot.
