Anyone remember the Bill Murray movie "MeatBalls"??
There's a part of the movie where Murray has to give a pep talk to all
the campers.The main point of it all is that he gets a chant of
"It just doesn't matter" going all around the camp.
As a Sox fan of 34 suffering years (many have suffered far longer than I have),
I think I should apply "It just doesn't mater" to the Sox 2004 season (and the 33 others I have had the misfortune to witness).
-The Sox winning a World Series?? "It Just Doesn't Matter".
-Kenny Williams acquiring new talent for 2005?? "It Just Doesn't Matter".
- Ownership insisting that a "Big City" ballclub be run as if they were the Pirates,Twins,Brewers or A's?? "It Just Doesn't Matter".
