Do you want Ichiro Suzuki to break Sisler's hits record?

Sure, why not? He's a phenomenal player.

I think it would be great. Though he needs 22 hits in 13 games to break the record. And he's been in a bit of a slump(for Ichiro) the last 10 games. 4 0/fer games and just 3 multi-hit games. At Angels/Texas this week, we'll see.

With a poll like this it must be posted by a budding journalist.

Where's the "He plays for the Mariners so I don't really care one way or the other," option?

That option was waived upon entry to the Talking Baseball forum.

Ichiro went 5-5 tonight, up to 243 hits. 14 shy of tying the record, 11 games left.

It ain't over yet.

Of course, Sisler did it in 154 games....but still...:redneck

I hope Ichiro does it. Then I hope he gets traded to the Sox and breaks his own record in 2005.
