ARLINGTON -- White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen has a pointed message for Carl Everett for next season.

"Show up in Spring Training in shape, don't come to Spring Training to get in shape," Guillen said on Thursday.Carl does look a bit chubby this year. :tongue:

That's the truth and that's how Ozzie should be. Don't come to camp all fat and disrespecting the organization by showing you don't take your job seriously. Like that fat pig David Wells who showed up with us like a damn baloon and then he goes to the Yankees loses 20 pounds and shaves his beard. Everett's no use to us if he can't play right field. He's got two or three good years left if he does, he's only 33.

I agree. I think Carl will show up next spring in great shape and have a big year for us. Carl is one of the best clutch hitters we have and plays with more heart than most of his teammates. If he can only stay healthy...
