Ha ha ha ha ha, just kidding. It was nice to see the Sox come from behind, I find myself digging Gload more and more.
Too bad the Twinkies had to have a little late-inning comeback of their own.

WOOHOO! Man, I was having one crappy night until that single by Gload. Funny how one meaningless September win can perk you up even when you are down...

Crede, Rowand, Robbie... I can't believe they got some clutch 2 out hits. That was amazing.

Remember guys...It's a whole new month.
Should that be in teal?
Let's just not get started with that "undefeated month" talk.
After going like 2-0 in August... well... you know how that went.

Way to go Sox! Winning is fun and come from behind, game-winning pinch hits, and walk-off wins are the most fun!
Come on Willie, come on everybody, dance, dance... :dtroll: :supernana: :bandance:

Um, is Grilli 5th starter material?
Maybe for the rest of this year. Next year, God I hope not.

Grilli at $350K > Garland at $ 4M

Or Grilli = Adkins.
I'd like to see us get good pitchers for a change instead of filling out the back of the rotation with these low-budget mediocre guys.

Well yeah, but I prefer them over high-budget mediocre guys (i.e. Garland).

If the we win tomorrow, thats two in a row and if we win on friday thats 3 in row is my math is correct. And thats what we like to call a winning streak. It has happened before and it could happen again. (ok I pretty much stole that from major league, but i just cant remember what a winning streak feels like)

I think schoeneweis and garland should fight it out to the death for the 5th starter spot next year. At least we'll get some entertainment out of that spot...
Eitherway, I think if scott can pitch anywhere near what he is capable of, I'm all for cutting jon loose in a trade and letting scott handle the 5th starter spot.

A few more outings like that and sure. someone who'll go 6 & give up 4 is pretty good as a #5, unless you're really expecting a starting rotation of 5 Cy Young candidates.

The Cubs had a Starting rotation of Cy young Canidates and look where it's got them

I don't know if that's going to make me feel better. I'm still trying to recover from last September.
