I can't believe they didn't call up Valdez, the short stop who has been playing well in AAA :o:

Was Munoz the only one we called up? I'd be shocked if we didn't call up Valdez

Did Munoz bring his "only MLB strike out" ball with him for god luck? That was one of the worst thing I ever saw.

Sure was, at least for now:

CHICAGO -- The Chicago White Sox have recalled left-handed pitcher Arnie Munoz from Class AAA Charlotte.

Munoz, 22, is 2-6 with a 5.68 ERA (44 ER/69.2 IP) and 60 strikeouts in 13 starts with the Knights. The 5-foot-9, 170-pounder allowed 81 hits for a .289 opponents average and issued 29 walks. Munoz compiled a 2.45 ERA (7 ER/ 25.1 IP) in his first four starts in August before giving up seven runs over 5.0 IP in his last outing on August 28 vs. Richmond.

Munoz began the season at Class AA Birmingham, going 7-2 with a 2.05 ERA (17 ER/74.2 IP) and 68 strikeouts in 13 starts to earn a promotion to the White Sox. He made his major-league debut on June 19 at Montreal, allowing 11 runs on 10 hits over 3.0 IP in a losing effort, and was optioned to Charlotte following that start. The White Sox have 26 players on the active roster, and the 40-man roster is at 39.

stop losing faith and start winning some games,we still got timeIt's September 1st. Relax. We don't have to call everyone up today. Most likely you'll see guys like Valdez, Bajenaru, Hankins, etc. given a shot after Charlotte's season ends on the 6th.
