Yeppers, and the twinks are about to lose too, only one more half inning.

That douche balfour hit soriano on the head. I hope they bean one of those bastards in the top half, c'mon texas, you know you want too. Teach these bastards some humilaty (sp?).

Anywhoo, good win, it figures it takes our 5th starter to win us a game!

Random thoughts

- Man that's sweet that Cotts gets the win after that strong outing

- Surprise to see Borchard go o-fer

- Is it wrong to be terrified of the number 38, even when you're up by 5 runs?

Seriously, it was nice to see the bats come to life, even though I know we've got little to no hope I find myself flipping the channels on Directv to make sure the Twinkies lose. I guess dying hard is the name of the game.

Yes, but to credit borchard, who drew two key walks, and had a hard hit line drive that coco leapt for and robbed him of extra bases. I hate joe with a passion, but if he's going to put forth that kind of effort every night....

Oh yeah, I turned on the game a little late, was there anything to that cruise missle that went over Uribe's head in the ninth? That didn't look like that slipped out of Riske's grubby fingers.....

Good points Soxzilla, he's just been so frustrating. I thought for sure once he started playing every day he'd light it up. At least Gload looked pretty good tonight.

Great slugfest, if you like that kind of thing. I don't mind them if the Sox come out on top.

But I'd really like to see the Sox put together some solid pitching performances in the next few games. I don't think we're going to continue to slug our way to victories.

i thought Borchard made some good contact. if he keeps that up, those will eventually fall and Joe should come around. <crossing fingers>

It was definitely suspicious, especially since Uribe hit the ball hard four times tonight.

Gee whiz, I thought we were going to go with the four-man rotation down the stretch so we can secure the division title.

I can't. If we can gain about 3 more games in less than a week then maybe

Is it sad that I am excited about a Sox player hitting .240ish?

Joe Crede sits, and Juan Uribe comes up with a 4 hit night. We score 14 runs.

Coincidence, or a sign of things to come?

Coincidence, or a sign of things to come?I wouldn't mind trading Crede for a pitcher in the offseason.

If Uribe goes to 3rd and we sign Vizquel, the Sox would have nice top of the order options with both Rowand and Vizquel, not to mention if Harris ever comes around. I know some have clamored for a splashier FA SS signing, but this would allow us to focus even more on pitching as well as keep both CLee + Konerko.

First off, I would LOVE to have Vizquel and move Uribe to 3B, but why would he want to come here?

He might not be wanted in Cleveland (it has been reported in several places). We've got Sandy + Robbie right now...

I'm glad that game was on WGN and could watch it. What a game. Did the top of the 1st inning and the 35 minute "cool off" period hurt Stewart tonight though?
