Well, after watching the Twins put away the Tribe and watching the SOX fall out of contention, it's time to turn my focus to "Da Bears". Although I will still make about 4-5 more SOX games this season, I'm hoping we see some form of "life" for 2005.

In reading the other threads on the subject, I don't blame Kenny or Ozzie for the 2004 results. Take any of the division/wild card leaders and remove their 3-4 batters for 1/2 the season (200+ RBIs, 70+ HRs and 200+ Runs Scored) and I doubt, with the exception of St. Louis' 15 game lead, that any of them would gallop into the playoffs.

A few assessments;

- Robbie Alomar quit playing in July
- Sandy Alomor should reture
- Joe Bochard has a big hole in his bat
- Joe Crede needs to change his approach to hitting
- Jon Garland needs to change his approach to pitching
- Trade Paul Konerko as his trade value will never be this high again
- Sign Magglio because we don't have anyone to replace him
- Aaron Rowand deserves to play everday for the next five years!!!
- Carlos Lee should play first base
- We got the best years out of Jose Valentin - time for a change
- Ben Davis has been a nice bonus in the Garcia trade
- Willie Harris cannot hit major league pitching
- The real Juan Uribe did show up

- Look forward to 2005!

I agree with all your assessments except I think Willie can hit MLB pitching and Carlos shouldn't play 1st.

I do think the Sox should trade Konerko though.

They can get a lot for him now.....
