Today Eric Gagne blew his second of the season

Also Hoffman blew a save and in that same game, Smoltz came on with the 1 run lead due to Hoffman's BS, allowed the tying run to go to first on a 3-2 check swing walk and Giles hits a double down the right field line, but the runner Lorretta is thrown out in a play at the plate. Crazy night for closers.

That should have been the first blown save for Gagne. The previous one (man, 2 BS since August 2002- Koch like) was a ball hit off someone's glove- it should have been fielded to end the game. He just didn't have it last night for the first time in a long time. I think the Dodgers will give him another chance though.:D: Although, as a Dodgers fan (my second favorite team), I want to thank Paul DePodesta for his trading Mota (who got the win in the game last night) away so Dreifort can blow games in the eighth.
