We need this guy. Neal Cotts looks brutal everytime I see him come out of the pen and Mike Jackson is a gascan. We can't live on Politte, Marte, and Shingo day in and day out. Wunsch is healthy and is putting up some decent numbers in relief for Charlotte...

Not going to happen. He's not even on the 40 man roster.

Last I heard,Wunsch was on the D.L. If he's now active,I see no reason not call him up.Unless he's ticked off Kenny Williams. There's something here that's not being talked about.I wish I knew what was going on.:dunno: :dunno:

He's not on the DL, but he's only thrown 19 innings this year. He can throw twice a week max- there's no point having him here, especially as a lefty specialist.

As for the conspiracy theories about KW keeping him down there for personal reasons, I don't think so. If he actually thought Wunsch could help the team, he would recall him.

He's lost 7-10 mph on his once low-90's fastball and has had control problems. In addition, he's only been usable once or twice a week and has been shut down for a week or 2 at a time several times in the past couple months. This is what happens to guys with unconventional deliveries who pitch in 90 games several years in a row. He feels fine one day, pitches, has no velocity, and then feels like his arm is going to fall off for the next 4 days.

This is about the 3rd or 4th thread on this subject in the past 24 hours.

The only thing going on here is Kelly not being effective, or really 100% healthy.

Yawn....... Kelly is done with the Sox. He wasn't taken off the 40-man for no reason. The chain of events that would cause the Sox to add him back to their roster is very long. Don't hold your breath that it will happen.

Can we move on, please???
