We had a chance to pull the sweep... I had nightmares about the Borchard AB last night.

Dude, 2 of 3 IN Boston. You can't ask for more from this team.

I think anyone would be happy with winning two of three in Boston. The Borchard things still makes no sense to me, but we were down a run at the time. It is likely that no one else would have done anything either.
I question just as much the pitch selection of the Sox pitchers to David Ortiz. The man can hit a inside fastball. There is no way he should ever see one with the score tied and bases empty.

I agree that the Borchard AB was a bad managing move on Ozzies part. Not an awful AB, but an awful result. His swing is really gross. He needs work, and he's not gonna get any better marching him out there in high pressure situations until his problems get fixed.

If Aaron Rowand would have been able to move the runner on 1st into scoring position, I highly doubt Davis would have been called back for Borchard to hit.

A week ago most people thought the sox were completely dead, now we're complaining about them taking 2 of 3 at Fenway, jeez gmab.
