However, our best chance for this weekend involve Bonnie and Charlie

Not today dude...their streak ends.

Although I'll gladly take the win...the Sox really knocked the crap outta the ball today!

anyone else a bit nervous about contrares going against boston tomorrow? not to mention it's wakefield, so everyone on the sox will swing as hard as possible the whole game long.

It's really funny how much shorter these things are when the sox win a game.

We scored 3 runs on 3 homeruns, are offense still looks horrible.

On the plus side, Garcia pitched a beauty.

Yeah, Garcia was just great again. He's like Rick Sutcliffe circa-'84 minus the play-off chances.

Offense looked horrid, as pointed out by soltrain, getting 3 runs off a guy with a 7 ERA coming into the game.

FINALLY!!!! DA SOX win a series!!!! Great job by Garcia after settling down, and what are the chances of Ross Gload putting DA SOX ahead for good with that home run????

As far as the weekend series with those other Sox, Contreras should, and I stress SHOULD have a better outing tomorrow night than his previous outings against the Red Sox while with the Yankees due to the fact that there will, obviously, be less pressure placed on him to beat the Red Sox. However, Wakefield's knuckleball may put DA SOX back in a slump that just may, unfortunately, last for the remainder of the season. We'll see what happens.
