Don't adjust your computer monitor. You are reading the title of this thread correctly. This morning on the ESPN2 show Cold Pizza, two men were interviewed because of their desire to see their favorite player, Jose Oquendo, inducted into the Hall of Fame. They were completely serious.
Here were some of their arguments:
1. Jose Oquendo hit one home run in the post-season. Ted Williams hit zero.
2. Oquendo has the same lifetime batting average (.256) as Harmon Killabrew.
3. Oquendo can play multiple positons.
4. Oquendo was Ozzie Smith's double-play partner.
I can't believe people like this are given air-time.
