Ray Lankford?

Lankford is at home pondering the slim possibilities he has. After coming off the DL he was given the choice to go back down to the minors or he can ask for a release from the st louis organization.

Can't really blame the guy, apparently your own team doesn't seem to want him that much (Since they acquired slugger larry walker, whats the point?), and with talent that lankford has shown throughout his career, he deserves much better than the bus leagues.

Should he be released, should the sox show any interest in acquiring the corner outfielder for the stretch?

Would I rather have Lankford than Timo or Borchard? Yes.

When his wrist wasn't bothering him, his Road OPS was closer to 900; USCF will be to his liking.

But I still would rather take a chance on Cruz Jr and Lofton combo.
