Why in the hell does the player of the game always have to go to the winning team? That's BS if you ask me. You figure, yeah Cleveland has a powerful offense, but Diaz would have been lit up by any team tonight. The player of the game is Valentin, he made this thing interesting. Just about any major leaguer woudl have hit a grandslam off of Diaz on that pitch. With the bases loaded, you drive the ball. If it's right there, you hit a grandslam. There's nothing special there at all. The player of the game should be the difference maker, not someone who just did his job.

*EDIT: Just ask Mike Jackson. He'll tell you about grand slams. (Please PLEASE give this guy his unconditional release!!)
