The Jays canned Carlos Tosca today. Seems like a scapegoat firing. They've had problems with injuries and some bad years by players they were expecting to carry them. A real bullpen would have helped.

What is JM up to these days? I heard in the off-season he was interviewing for the Reds' job but ultimately didn't get it. Aside from that I have no idea where he may have wandered off to.

I think he's spent most of his time in Sacramento, because he has family there. I would imagine he'll be managing again somewhere soon. I hope the Sox get a chance to face him when once he is.

You mean Delgado's insistance on keeping his no-trade clause didn't help?

Actually, I have nothing but well wishes for Tosca, who was the manager for the Kane County Cougars, the A level affiliate of the Oakland A's who I see play 4-6 times a year.
