No broken bones, just a bad bruise.

The official word is always a bunch of crap, just like when Maggs was day to day when he got hurt.

Per Bruce Levine on the postgame show.

Can you imagine Ross Gload the starting left fielder for the rest of the year?:whiner:

What happened? He fouled a ball off of his knee and then Timo replaced him with an 0-1 count?

Carlos needs a break anyway. He has not been swinging the bat anywhere near his capabilities.

So, who bats third tomorrow?

You should know, TimoPerez. You replaced him and finished the at bat.

Robbie Alomar. :?:

Although I can't believe it's come to that, I think that's what I'd do if Carlos can't go to the post tomorrow:

Rowand CF
Perez LF
Alomar 2B
Konerko 1B
Everett DH
Valentin SS
Uribe 3B
Borchard RF
Davis C

Or maybe he starts Gload at one of the corner outfields. I'm at a loss at this point.

I figured him as the starting right fielder beacause Borchard should be on the bench getting slivers in his ass.

Nah. He needs to play. That way, he can fail miserably, and the Sox brass will see that he should NOT be part of the plans in 2005.

Unfortunately I hadn't had enough to drink by that time. I'm looking for something stronger than alcohol now...like chloroform.

I should, shouldn't I? Unfortunately I am in New York so I don't get to follow my favorite player as thoroughly as I used to. If Timo finished the at-bat then shouldn't that count as an 0-1 for Carlos Lee, not Timo? I though if someone pinch hits in the middle of an at-bat then if the person gets out, the original player gets an out vredited to them, but if the new player gets a hit, it counts towards his record.
