CBS Sportsline doesn't list him as starting or on the bench, but has Robbie Alomar. Did he get sent down to make room?

MLB Gameday has both of them.

I don't see why they'd even THINK of sending down Gload. There's always room for a pinch-hit specialist even when Frank and Maggs are back.

i'm almost thinking send harris down. get his confidence back up in his baserunning and bunting and contact skills for the rest of the month and then bring him back up for september.

Before the game Ozzie said something about putting Schoeneweis on the DL to make room for Robbie. At first I thought he said they were going to "deal" Schoeneweis, but the more I thought about it I think he said "DL".

Then during the telecast today, DJ mentioned something about Schoeneweis having a sore elbow.

OH, so that explains his crappy start the other night..

Hawk just said that Schoeneweis is doubtful for his Monday start but they still have to send someone down when they bring up Diaz for Monday's game. I hope it is Borchard. If he is gonna amount to anything he needs regular at bats.

I thought his ass would be sore from the ass kicking he so rightly deserved after that pitiful performance last night.

(Sorry for the curse words but I'm absolutely seething with anger.)

I heard that too, where Hawk said that Shoney is the "scheduled" starter, implying that he wouldn't make that start. But, that means that TWO roster moves are in order:

1) To make room for Robbie Alomar (release Mike Jackson)
2) To make room for Diaz or some other callup to start next Monday

I doubt they will release Jackson. Before the game tonight, Ozzie was praising Jackson for "saving the bullpen for today" with his performance last night and went on to say how great it is to have "this kid" (his words) in the bullpen. :?:

Send Harris down and release Mike Jackson. We'd be foolish to send Gload back to AAA.
