Juan Uribe mired in a 13-for-97 slump over his last 28 games

Crede batted .198 (18-for-91) in July, emblematic of the White Sox's Major League-worst team average of .226. Jose Valentin, with no hits in his last 24 at-bats and one in his last 31, comes off a July where he posted a .124 average (11-for-89).

That right there....that is our problem! We may have a pitcher out there who's doing a half way decent job, but the numbers some of our guys are putting up with the bats JUST DON'T CUT IT. If a pitcher only gives up 3 runs in a game, that does absolutely nothing for us if we can only put one run on the board to back him up! Let's get the bats going, guys! There's more ways to score than just home runs.

It's all because of Frank and Maggs.

That is the exact problem. I dont want any of those three on my team anymore, or at least not starting they can be off the bench.

It's all because of Frank and Maggs.
You dont think that 1)Willie & Juan get better pitches to hit in front of Frank & Maggs than Carlos & Paulie and/or 2)There's a lot less pressure on them with the 2 big guns actually producign in the lineup?

Carlos & Paulie are among the top #3 or #4 best hitters in any MLB lineup, as the #1 & 2, they're average at best. Jose is a pretty good #5 or 6 guy, especially when there's men on base ahead of him. As the #3 best hitter and coming up with the bases emtpy, not so good.

There's a huge impact of losing not only your 2 best hitter, but 2 of the beast in baseball. It carries over to everyone else significantly.
