Today, PG 4 of the SPORTS section
1959: Nellie Fox of the Chicago White Sox singled in the deciding run in the seventh inning during the AL's 5-3 victory in the year's second All Star Game. The first game was played July 7th.
2001: Mark Buehrle of the White Sox pitched a one-hitter and faced only 28 batters in a 4-0 win over Tampa Bay.

OR! a best of 5 all-star series to decide which leagues team with the best record wins the world series at the end of the season. I really hope Bud didn't read this!

I saw that game with my brother. I remember being mad because I forgot my scorebook at home that day.
