I think there's one of those ***official*** threads around here about that. I still think the Sox are in it, but they need to pick it up.

I still have full confidence that the Sox will win the division. The Braves just made up 9 games in a month. We have to make up 5 games in 2 months, and with the kind of second half surges we have had in the past, it can definitely be done.

Think fried dough stuffed with vanilla/chocolate/strawberry and rolled in cinnamon & sugar.

I get a "Homer Simpson" just thinking about it (eyes rolled back in head, trickle of drool at corner of mouht).

19 wins in August. That is all we need and we'll be right back in this. Granted 19 wins is a good amount of wins, but there is no reason given our schedule and this club that we can't get there.

If the Twins play at or around .500 in August (which is a difficult month for them) we could find ourselves a game back or possibly even a game in front going into September.

This thing is far from over.

Look at the remainder of our season this way. Last year we flew through July losing two games after the All-star break. We wound up losing the division. This year however, we struggled through July, only to pick it up during August/September, when the games will matter and we take our games against the Twins. Aren't churros lamb meat served inside a pita bread with lettuce, tomato, and feta cheese?
