1. Why is Kevin Hickey in the dugout?
2. According to the AP, Raul Mondesi was released by the Angels. Why doesn't K-Dub sign him? He'll be cheap, he has some power and he's fast and he's a better OF than Borchard.
He can't pass a drug test. Next question.

I don't ever remember him failing any drug tests
He actually failed to comply with the rehab program. Sorry

Mondesi injured himself about a week or ten days after he signed with the Angels. I remember hearing that he had a lump on his leg that was really ugly, and painful. He got put on the DL. What happened after that, I don't know.

Mondesi = headcase.
He's been a disruptive force in the last 3 clubhouses he called home, even calling out Joe Torre.
I'd rather have an empty roster spot than Raul Mondesi.

I thought he broke his leg or something and was out for the season?
It flashed on the ESPN News ticker tonight....Mondesi released from the angels for failing to comply with rehabilitation program.

Kevin Hickey is my neighbor. He actually lives across the street from me. I think he throws batting practice among other things. Normally, when at the Cell, he sits in the bullpen, or at least I saw him when I was in the Bleachers. On the road he usually sits in the White Sox dugout. I think he got the job when they had the '83 Winning Ugly reunion and somebody asked if he wanted to come back.

according to a story I read on yahoo sports , Mondesi refused to show up for a rehab assignment two days in a row and didnt call anybody to explain why... Thats all we need is to put an anchor like Mondesi on this sinking ship
