Chicago Building Inspector Stan Kaderbeck is announcing right now that the Urinal is okay...the netting underneath the upper deck is sufficient enough for fan safety, and the Cubs will have to show proof of inspections each year.

Oh yeah...WGN TV was the only TV station carrying the news conference live...what a coincidence, huh?

I think this is a sham. If I were Mayor Daley, I would overrule Kaderbeck and shut down Wrigley Field. Knowing the mayor like all of us do, I bet he fumed (or will fume when he gets back from Boston) over the 2001 report detailing major work that needed to be done.

The Sun-Times story (http://www.suntimes.com/output/news/cst-nws-wrig30.html) about Wrigley is intriguing, but I think the Daily Southtown story (http://www.dailysouthtown.com/southtown/dsindex/30-ds3.htm) is particularly damning.

I think all of us sox fans would shut down wrigley if we were mayor daley :bandance:
