I can't believe it. This guy gets a hit on Tuesday night, and then hits a homer on Wednesday. His average is now up to a robust .143. Working with Walker has really helped him at the plate, and he is an above average defender.

You know things have hit rock bottom when there is a post like this about Ben Freaking Davis and it isnt in teal.

At least things can only get better from here, right?

Ben Davis is Mark Johnson Part II, only like most other sequels, he's worse.

I love Ben Davis over Mo...wait, was that teal? No, but seriously, Davis will easily pick up the Thomas/Maggs slack we so desperately need! 9 - 1(Miguel) + 0(Davis) - (Maggs) - (Thomas) = 6 (Oh wait, who else is slumping...that's right, everybody but PK and the Creationist...we're set!

You have to attend at least 6 Sox heartbreaking losses in person. Heartbreaking is defined as lost the lead in the last two innings, left >5 RISP, one of our stars got injured, or any losses against Scrubs, Twinks, or Oakland.

That sounds dangerously close to losing your soul... as opposed to selling it for a championship.

This season or in my life? Not that it matters, cuz I've got both covered.

I like this guy. Sure his bat is suspect, but as for catcher skills, I definately like him. And if he can actually hit.....hey!

Ok this guy WAS hitting something like .305 before the all-star break last year, and then severely tanked following the break. Not sure what happened, but you don't hit .300 by accident. Working with Walker, it seems like Davis isn't scared at the plate as he so obviously was when he just got here. His swing is alot shorter and he's even hitting some homeruns. I'm not going to go out on a limb and say he's going to hit .300 for us, but I'm certain he's not a .074 hitter or even a .140 hitter, and he should be pretty productive given more playing time.

Ben Davis has the same problem Ron Karkovice had, he can't hit a curveball.
