I hope Greg works with Joe (I know he has allready worked with him in the minors) and his stance. Watching Joe at the plate... it seems as if he is off balance, doesn't have any pop, his stance just doesn't look right. Am I the only one with these thoughts? I really thought Joe would come through in the 9th. That was an amazing play by the second baseman to complete the double play.

I believe they completely reworked Borchard's swing for this season. I seem to remember hearing Hawk talk about that in one of the telecasts.

I still can't believe he is labeled as an untouchable. Ridiculous.

Borchard is definitely untouchable, but only because other teams don't want any part of him.

HaHa.....sad but true. We should have given Seattle him. Oh well.

He makes up for it by being a really good-looking guy.

I don't use teal. Teal is a crutch.

That is bad. I don't know what is worse. Being Dick Jauron or Joe Borchard. I know, being John Schoop.

WSox8404-
Um, he's kind of conspicuously ugly, therefore no need to use teal for an obviously facetious statement? Just goofing around anyway.

I have little confidence that Greg Walker can actually help any of these players.

He was brought here to help the young hitters, all of them are struggling.

Von Joshua is laughing at the Sox organization right now.

Agreed. LTP has to go. He doesn't even hit .280 in the minors. Oh well.

Agreed. He should now be referred to as LTS (Light Tower Speed) for not beating out that double play grounder. That play took forever to develop, and he was out by five feet. Maybe he was running the option and faked the handoff to the tailback first.

We have the slowest team in the bigs. Borchard is right near the top.

Borchard shouldve been traded before he was ever called up. Now that he's played a few games in the majors this year, every team with a scout knows that he isn't worth anything.

How many scouts thought Borchard was worth anything before his recent call-up?
